Nap

Not much to report today. For the most part I’m just figuring out what my limitations are while I’m on chemo. They say that nausea can usually hit in the first 2-3 days after chemo but with all the medication I was on, I seem to have avoided that stage. I was told that fatigue usually sets in 4-5 days after treatment…I have found this to be true. I laid down for a nap yesterday morning at 9:30am and didn’t wake up until noon! Until now, I’ve never been able to nap during the day so I was shocked to find out I had slept for 2 ½ hours.

Well, Steve has left to take the boys to school and I feel another nap coming on so I’ll sign off for now.

Take care,

me

Rest while you can - and I LOVE the hair! It's about the same length as mine now and you suit it. Hope the boys are well. Take care,

Naps are a good thing! After you are finished with your treatments and life is back on track you are going to have to treat yourself to the joys of a daily "powernap". My boys grew up with that 5-10 min. period worked into my afternoon - and they accepted it - provided I wasn't behind the wheel!
Lots of love,

Hey Kim,

Those naps my Mother took back in the day were fantastic!! It provided us plenty of time to sneek the beer into the basement, get them on ice, and maybe even have a few before she even stirred. Might be a good idea to get the naps out of your system before your boys are in their "Teen Years"........

KEEP SMILING,

Mark
