When I first started this blog, after I would write an entry, I would have Steve read it before I pushed the magic button to post it for all to see. I would sit back and watch his face to see his reaction. More importantly, Steve would correct all my grammar and spelling mistakes. (Remember, I’m a numbers person, not a words person.) Anyway, it is now rare that Steve and I have the time to coordinate the writing and the editing in the same night. When I ask Steve if he’s had a chance to read a recent post, he usually says, “Yes, you put 'their' instead of 'there' or you spelt something wrong.” Argh!!!!!!!! No matter how many times I read over an entry, my brain just reads what words should be there and not necessarily the words that are there. I also blame the drugs…that excuse comes in handy in a lot of situations…milk it while you can, right? So, when you see all the mistakes, know that the editor will get around to fixing them eventually.

I feal the need to poste a rebuttel to my wifes comentary. It was never my intension to stilfe Kim's creative flow, or mak her feel gramaticaly self-consious. I hav bene amazed both by Kim's message and her comunication style. Although I've known from years of deep insiteful conversation with her, of Kim's wit, inteligence and creative energy; I was unaware of how powerful of a writr she was. As this blog continues I will become more "audince" and less "editor".
(Kim - in all seriousness, I'm sorry if I've frustrated you at all. I have honestly been so amazed by your message, and only wanted the world to get the full impact.)

Hey Kim,
I know you guys are married, but imagine growing up with that. Enough to drive a kid to learn how to use his fists!!
Keep Smiling,
Mark
Hi Kim
It was fun watching Steve struggle to send his comment with the grammar in the car on our way home from Toronto. Earlier today we were reading an email he had sent awhile ago, it really frustrated him that he had used the wrong there, they're, their. I had a little chuckle to myself that your blog topic covered this frustration of Steve's. Sharilyn
